Us: Mo slips as supply fears ease

Molybdenum prices fell in the past week as supply concerns waned, weighing on domestic offers for alloy and feedstock. Prices for 65pc grade alloy edged down to $8.80-9.10/lb from $8.90-9.10/lb on 20 August. Offers for alloy declined in line with lower feedstock prices. A 10t spot purchase was concluded at $9.05/lb on a delivered basis at the start of this week, and a truckload of alloy changed hands at $8.80-8.85/ lb on an unknown delivery basis.
