摘要

An immobilised Pseudomonas putida cell based biosensor, able to work directly in organic solvent (n-hexane), was designed and built. The response, in n-hexane, to benene and some of its derivatives was studied. The proposed biosensor was found to be suitable for determining benzene in dydrophobic matrices.
