After experiencing substantial gains last week, wholesale asphalt pricing in the US west coast and Rockies steadied amid reduced supply. Buying activity slowed following a furry of deals at the end of January. More transactions may take place later in the month, but sellers indicated tonnage was largely contracted out for February and expected few, if any, mid-month spot rail deals.
