The present invention relates to an artificial landscaping which has an artificial rocky mountain comprising rocks, trees, plants and the like, and an artificial pond capable of supplying water to the artificial rocky mountain, and a method therefor. The present invention comprises: an artificial rocky mountain comprising a block structure which forms a plurality of blocks by bonding or inserting the same, and forms mortar layers on a surface of at least one selected block, and installs a plurality of vegetation mats on a surface of a block where the mortar layer is not formed, a plurality of rocks which are installed on a surface of the mortar layer comprising the block structure, a soil layer which is stacked and formed on the vegetation mat comprising the block structure, and a plurality of landscaping plants planted in the soil layer; a plurality of artificial ponds which are installed adjacent to the artificial rocky mountain and accommodates water; and an irrigation control device which is installed in an inner side of the artificial pond to store raw water supplied from the outside according to a water level or a temperature change of the artificial pond, or supplies the water stored in the artificial pond to an upward direction of the artificial rocky mountain.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
