摘要

A complex approach to solving a conjugate task of internal and external heat exchange in regard to continuous furnaces of different design is considered in this work. This method allows for the influence of relative location of billets and characteristic structural features of the furnaces on the movement of the heating process. The developed software gives a possibility to simulate thermal fields on the cross section of the billet, to determine thermal flows and heat transfer factors along the furnace length, to calculate heating time and fuel rate. The results of the investigation are adapted to the actual conditions of billet heating.
