Determination of active ingredients in Saururus chinensis by capillary electrophoresis with electrochemical detection

摘要

Saururus chinensis is a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine that has recently been shown to he able to protect DNA against hydroxyl radicals'. Chemical analysis of this material has shown that it contains a-variety of physiologically active compounds. Accordingly, there is a need to develop a robust, routine analytical method that is capable of determining the wide range of compounds contained in this folk medicine.
