KENMARE: Lower Ore Grades

The average grade of ore mined fell to 3.6%, compared against 4.4% in 2019. The production of heavy mineral concentrates (HMCs) fell by 12% to 1.202 million tonnes, so the company drew down stocks of HMCs. Accumulated stocks of HMCs were 7000 tonnes at end-2019, versus 19,600 tonnes at end-2018.
