The best part of this job is seeing how different manufacturers satisfy their customers' needs. The second best part is never having to sit through the same story twice. The commonality in all of these stories is the on-time delivery of quality metal parts. That's the bottom line to their success. The stories, however, have different protagonists and challenges. The fabricators all serve different customers in different economic segments with different needs. It's an ever-changing scene against the backdrop of the North American manufacturing community. That definitely keeps life interesting for those that fabricate metal parts for a living-and those that get to cover the industry.
