Rover awaits FERC decision on request to start up additional facilities to serve Midwest

Energy Transfer Partners’ Rover natural gas pipeline is waiting for US regulators to decide on its request to begin service on additional facilities so stranded Northeast shale gas can be transported to Midwest markets. The project began initial service on September 1, 2017, bringing about 700 MMcf/d of its certificated 3.25 Bcf/d capacity online, on a limited path. Since then, Rover has placed additional supply laterals and compressors into service, raising capacity to current levels of around 2 Bcf/d.
