South Sudan partners with AEC to boost oil sector

THE AFRICAN ENERGY Chamber has entered into a technical assistance cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Petroleum of South Sudan to strengthen the country's capacity to manage its hydrocarbon sector. Under the agreement, the chamber will conduct a needs assessment and outline the institutional and policy reforms needed to strengthen capacity across the value chain. The chamber will also work on energy access and mobilise funding.
