The environment has become a matter of great concern with the air quality in the capital deteriorating at an alarming pace. In another sledge- hammer judgment, something that has become a more frequent phenomenon in our troubled times, the Supreme Court on Monday, 29th October came down heavily on transport authorities, asking them not to allow plying of petrol and diesel vehicles over 15 and 10 years, respectively, in the National Capital Region (NCR).
