What I eat, what I don't eat and why that is

BEFORE I left Nebraska to serve in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's undersecretary for food safety position, I really was not too fussy about what I ate or how I prepared it. Fortunately for me, my wife usually was.I say "usually" because now I am more aware of the dangers of certain foods. There are some habits my wife just won't change, and there are some foods I just will not give up, even though I know better.
