Objective: Impetigo is a common and highly contagious bacterial skin infection that mostly affects young children and infants. Herein, we report the development of a thermosensitive and bioadhesive in-situ hydrogel-forming system containing cephalexin-loaded nanoparticles (NPs) suitable for antibacterial drug delivery.
