coke prices slide further on weak demand

Petroleum coke prices tracked lower again this week, with traders said to be ofering high-sulphur coke as low as the mid- $40s/t on an fob US Gulf coast basis. The US Gulf coast 6.5pc sulphur fob price dropped by $4/t to $48/t, the frst time the price has fallen below $50/t since a brief one-week period at the end of January 2017.
