The program of the study is the - characterization of present world coke oven capacity (size, age, technical standard), the determination of future coke demand (production of steel by processes - production of pig iron - demand for coke) and the trends of the future availability of coke (environmental restrictions - coke oven capcity - availability of coking coal).
