A View of the Horizon: Thai REACH and Continued Vigilance in Asia

Global registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemicals (REACH) marches on. This past August, Thailand announced its new national inventory of existing chemical substances and urged industry to nominate substances to be included. Meanwhile, additional industry responsibilities ripen in Korea and Taiwan. With new major developments around each corner, it seems appropriate to cast the spotlight not only on Thailand, as the market du jour, but also on some of the lesser pesky but market-threatening details that are less publicized.
