The method involves slowing down closing motion of jaws (13, 14) to be directed on each other before reaching a closing direction. Pressure parts (19) oscillate against each other during slowing down of the closing motion of the jaw (13) due to mass inertia and air is pressed out from a tubular bag. The closing motion of the jaws (13, 14) is continued subsequently until reaching the closing direction.
