Kinematic Analysis of Swash Plate Pulse Continuously Variable Transmission

Objective: In the existing pulse continuously variable transmission, inertia or moment of inertia between the rod and the pendulum is difficult to balance. Take Swash plate, guide rod and helical gear bodies as transmission parts, designed Swash plate pulse continuously variable transmission. Methods: Assuming driven by the control mechanism, the Swash plate turned a certain angle around the central axis, the guide rod is located in the lowest position, and its displacement is zero, analyzed the guide rod working stroke moving law, transmission fluctuation degree, and rate coefficient of uniformity. The results: When the number of guide rod is 6, compared with other types of pulse continuously variable transmission, Uneven Coefficient of Velocity was much smaller, and it has nothing to do with the transmission gear ratio. Conclusion: The transmission uses a similar cylindrical cam (Swash plate guide rod cam) and the planets arranged, to achieve a non-traction continuously variable function.
