Borr sells off jack-ups to make 13 new MOPUs

A new owner is taking 14 old jack-up rigs from Borr Drilling with all but one being targeted for MOPU work. Borr acquired Paragon Offshore and its fleet of 31 jack-ups for US $232.5m. However, 21 of these were stacked at a cost of $35m per annum. Now 14 have been sold to "a non-drilling company". The rigs will be delivered to the new owner over the next 30 days with Borr making a profit of $ 16m.
