African Petroleum ramps up Gambia block threats

African Petroleum (AP) has ramped up its threats against Gambia after local reports that the government has decided to maintain its stance and offer its two blocks to other operators. The company was ejected from Blocks Al and A4 in June with the new government saying the contracts had expired and that AP had regularly failed to meet its commitments and that it was therefore talking to new suitors.
