BW Energy hopes to restart drilling at its Dussafu block off Gabon in March with 10 exploration wells planned in the coming years while it is expanding the existing FPSO and has awarded Zentech the contract to convert a pair of jack-ups to offshore installations. BW hopes to restart drilling two wells in the latest phase of its Tortue project on the block in March. The pair were left uncompleted when the pandemic struck. The Borr jack-up will also drill two exploration wells. This will include drilling on Hibiscus South which new seismic has shown to be much larger than previously thought.
