BW Energy buys jack-up pair to future proof Gabon project plan

BW Energy has bought a pair of jack-ups it intends to convert into production units - one for its revised development plan for the Ruche and Hibiscus project off Gabon - and another as a back-up because it is so confident of future success. The company will complete development drilling early next year on the latest phase of the Tortue project in the Dussafu block. The Borr Nor-ve jack-up will finish the final two production wells following a temporary halt in work.
