BW revises Gabon Ruche plan

BW Offshore has revised its development plan for the Ruche project in the Dussafu Marine licence, which holds the Hibiscus discovery, off Gabon. The revised plan will result in output rates being doubled from 15,000 b/d to 30,000 b/d, said BW. The acquisition of 91.67% of the Dussafu Marine Permit in Gabon and the associated redeployment of the FPSO BW Adolo was the first project for BW Offshore under its new E&P strategy. The Dussafu licence is situated within the Ruche Exclusive Exploitation Area (EEA), which covers 850sq km. BW Energy, a subsidiary of BW Offshore, is the field operator.
