Aminex and Zubair are sufficiently happy that the authorities will approve the farm down of the Ntorya project in Tanzania that the latter has agreed to hand over a down payment and accelerate drilling plans.Delays by the Tanzanian authorities meant the pair have had to extend their farm down deadline and therefore the development schedule for the Ntorya gas discovery on several occasions.However,this week Zubair subsidiary Ara agreed to a US $3m payment in advance to keep Aminex going and to advance drilling operations for the Chikumbi well.
