摘要

Project-based learning allow students to connect mathematics to their everyday lives. It is an instructional approach that teaches course contents through a project. This study is conducted to determine the impact of the use of Project-based Learning approach to mathematics performanceof students. The quasi-experimental method specifically the pre-posttest research design was utilized in the study. Teacher–made tests were used in gathering the needed data and the scores were tabulated and compared using the paired samples t-test and independent samples t-test. Cohensd was used to determine the magnitude of the impact of PBL on mathematics performance of students. Results showed that the experimental group scored higher than the control group in the posttest and PBL approach moderately improved students’ performance in mathematics. PBL also enhancedstudents’ critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, communication skills, and collaboration skills.
