Background: Silver nanoparticles pose high antibacterial properties against multi drug-resistant and non-resistant bacteria. However, bacteria acquire resistance against chemically synthesized silver nanoparticles after repeated exposure. Therefore, there is an inevitable need to understand the mechanistic behavior of silver nanoparticles.
