摘要

Manganese peroxidase (MnP), which is an extracellular glycosylated heme protein produced by various basi-diomycetous fungi, shows attractive potential in various biotechnological applications. A novel MnP gene, mnp3, from white-rot fungus Cerrena unicolor BBP6 was cloned and expressed in Pichia pastoris with a MnP activity of 154.5 U/l. The recombinant enzyme, rMnP3-BBP6, had strong decolorizing activity on a variety of dyes and it was efficient in denim bleaching. In addition, it was able to degrade fluorene and phenanthrene effectively. The results of this research demonstrated that rMnP3-BBP6 had promising biotechnological application potential in textile industries and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon bioremediation.
