Russia’s PhosAgro posts rise in Q1 fertilizer production and sales

LONDON (ICIS)--PhosAgro produced 10.2% more fertilizers in the first quarter year on year with sales up 8.2%, the Russian producer said on Wednesday. Phosphate-based fertilizers and feed phosphates production increased by 13.1% to 1.5m tonnes, while production of nitrogen-based fertilizers was stable at 400,000 tonnes in the first three months of 2016.
