One-turn head for the ratchet wheels teeth cutting

摘要

Design of complex tool with inserted HSS teeth is described. Rational cutting scheme and possibility of cutting head readjustment for machining of ratchet wheels with different teeth number and profile in combination with continuous cutting process considerably increase gear cutting efficiency compared to gear cutting with integral sharp ground hobs.
