Implementing the Australian mathematics curriculum: foundation to year 7

The Australian Curriculum is to be implemented in all states and territories to ensure continuity of for all Australian students. This is a world class curriculum which was developed with consultation from all states and territories and ensures that all students will be taught the same ideas within each year level. How schools implement this curriculum is guided by their state or territory but here is the journey that myself and a number of other teachers have been on to implement this curriculum within our schools. We all learnt much from this journey not the least of which is collaborate not only within your school but with surrounding schools and within your networks. Remember many hand make light work!
