Houston-Colombia is in the process of resurrecting not only its offshore oil and gas E&P sector, but conventional onshore, with unconventional and shale exploration still to come, top officials said Tuesday. The country is offering 18 onshore conventional and two offshore blocks in licensing rounds in the Caribbean Sea that will shortly be released, Luis Morelli, president of the country’s regulatory National Hydrocarbons Agency, said in a presentation to the Offshore Technology Conference.
