Seoul-South Korea is considering temporarily lowering taxes on retail oil products to help lower costs and boost domestic demand amid a slowing economy, a finance ministry official said Monday. "How much we would cut the taxes is not fixed yet. We will finalize the plan before the end of this month so that the tax reduction can take effect as early as next month," the official said.
