Seoul-South Korea will lower taxes on auto fuels by 15% for six months from November in an effort to lower costs and boost domestic demand amid a slowing economy, the Ministry of Economy and Finance said Wednesday. "The government has decided to cut tax rates on auto fuels to help ease cost pressures felt by households and small businesses who are suffering from rising oil prices and slowing domestic demand," the ministry said in a statement.
