Iran’s oil exports have fallen to historical lows. Hit by stringent US sanctions, apparent purchases by the Opec member’s traditional customers this month have sunk to close to the level that the Trump administration has targeted: zero (OD May8’19). Major Iranian crude buyers such as China, India and Turkey have not scheduled any liftings since Apr. 29 and neither has scheduled any for June so far, a senior Iranian oil source told Energy Intelligence.
