No new ammonia spot deals were reported concluded in South Korea this week in the run up to the Lunar New Year holidays. As such current prices are unchanged at $280-300/t CFR, with no immediate interest in additional cargoes. Lotte Fine Chemical (LFC) will take delivery of 17,000 t February 6 off the Al Jabirah from Sabic under contract, followed by 15,000 t February 10 off Mitsubishi’s Pazifik, and 18,000 t in the middle of February off the Waregem.
