摘要

Turkey, Iran and Iraq will jointly decide on whether to shut the oil pipeline through which the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) exports its crude, in response to Erbil pushing ahead with its independence referendum last week, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said following a trip to Tehran. "In the case of northern Iraq, Iran, Iraq and Turkey will form a tripartite mechanism and will decide on shutting down the oil [from the KRG],” Erdogan said, according to Turkish daily Hurriyet. He gave no indication of when any such decision would be made.
