The first pharmacy technician to study for a BTEC HNC in pharmacy services management from Trafford College successfully completed the course this summer.Gayle Silvester,a band 5 technician working in aseptic services at Salford Royal Foundation Trust,took the two-year course because she was looking towards a management role in the future(she is currently a supervisor).She estimates that she spent about six hours of her own time each week working on the course."I really enjoyed it,especially the project work,so would recommend it,"she said.
