Dirty rates sank like a stone Thursday,especially in the Suezmax and VLCC markets.Several fixtures bore testament to that.In Suezmaxes,Sinochem fixed the Tridonawati at Worldscale 225 for loading August 24 between the Middle East and China.Similarly,rates in the VLCC market also tanked.SPC fixed the 270,000-mt Marjan at W190 loading August 15 for a Middle East to Singapore trip.SPC also booked another ship,the 265,000-mt Astro Capricorn,loading August 23 along the same route.
