US Gulf cash Light Louisiana Sweets were back on an uptrend Thursday after slipping Wednesday,market sources said.The rise was linked to a narrowing of the WTI/Brent spread,which normally denotes the viability of imports from across the Atlantic.The prompt April WTI/Brent spread slipped back into negative values again settling Thursday at minus 72-74 cents/barrel,compared with Wednesday's plus 12-14 cents.On Thursday,the May WTI/Brent spread settled at 57-59 cents/barrel,from Wednesday's 1.19-1.21/barrel.The June WTI/Brent spread settled Thursday at 1.00-1.02/barrel,from Wednesday's 1.29-1.30/barrel.
