USG cash sweets ended higher responding to a sharp narrowing of the WTI/Brent spread, which appears on the verge of flipping, with Brent at a premium to WTI.This narrowing of the WTI/Brent which ended the US day at plus 18 cents/barrel, would make foreign Brent-linked alternatives expensive. US buyers would, therefore, seek to take US alternatives instead.
