Non-commercials,or hedge funds,substantially reduced their long position in crude futures and options on the New York Mercantile Exchange as of Apr 6,according to data released Friday by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.However,non-commercials,and nonreportables,or small speculators were still long a combined 84,470 contracts of crude futures and options,according to the Commitments of Traders report.
