Tesco has committed to reduce food waste around the world in its corporate social responsibility report Tesco and Society. The retail giant's chief executive Philip Clarke said the company will use its scale to lead the industry in cutting food waste by addressing its entire supply chain. Tesco has suppliers in more than 70 countries, more than 6,500 stores and 50 million customers around the world.
