FDA releases draft guidance for honey, honey product labels

FDA released new draft guidance this week on labeling of honey and honey products to help the food industry ensure they are properly labeling such products, and to remind them that the products must not be misbranded or adulterated. Proper label should ensure consumers understand what they're purchasing, the agency says. There is a 60- day comment period on the draft guidance.
