QSL has lowered its potash prices in China in response to oversupply and limited trading activity. Under the new prices, which were announced on January 12, standard crystal MOP is being offered for RMB 2,080 ($316)/mt CPT, inclusive of the 13% VAT. This is RMB 220 ($33)/mt less than the last price that QSL provided in September. Standard powder MOP is now being offered for RMB 2,040 ($310)/mt CPT by QSL, also down by RMB 220 compared to the last price, and the 62% K2O product will be traded at RMB 2,150 ($327)/mt CPT. Both include 13% VAT.
