Saudi King Abdullah underwent success-ful surgery in Riyadh on Monday, the RoyalCourt said Tuesday (IOD Oct.18'11).The elderly Saudi king had "successfulsurgery to re-tighten the binding connec-tor around the third vertebra," said a state-ment carried on the state Saudi PressAgency. There were no details about thelength of his recovery.
