Oil and gas explorer Faroe Petroleum said it secured about ￡266 million ($427.5 million) in credit facilities to fund its growth plans in Norway and acquisitions. Faroe, which operates in the UK and the Norwegian North Sea, said about ￡110 million will be used to finance the majority of its exploration and appraisal costs in Norway. The facility will mature on Dec. 31, 2014.
