LONDON (ICIS)--Russian fertilizer major Acron on Wednesday announced the sale of its 50.5% interest in Chinese producer Hongri Acron to an independent Hong Kong-based investment holding company as part of a stronger focus on domestic production. In a short statement, the company’s chairman, Alexander Popov, said the sale was “in line with Acron Group’s long-term development strategy … [to] focus on further development of our Russian production assets”.
