11000-plus Northen Cape youths to benefit from skills development initiative

MINERAL Resources Deputy Minister Godfrey, Oliphant launched a new youth development programme, Our Youth, Our Future, in Springbok, in the Northern Cape, in December. The programme focuses on the skilling of unemployed youth as artisans in the Northern Cape and Western Cape. This project is cofunded by the Mining Qualification Authority (MQA) and State-funded skills development trust the National Skills Fund, and will be implemented from 2016 to 2018.
