It is well established that the teaching of human anatomy within modern medical curricula has recently declined to a critically poor level.1 Consequently, most Australian medical students believe that their anatomy knowledge is inadequate, and feel they graduate with a substandard anatomy knowledge base, impairing their ability to work as a competent doctor.2 Furthermore, such limitations in core anatomy knowledge may dissuade graduates from pursuing anatomy-oriented specialties such as radiology. It is known that early integration of radiology education into medical curricula provides students with an appreciation for the importance of radiology in modern medical practice, and improves student's perception of radiology as a prospective career choice.3-4
