Computer interface developed for the person with disabled upper limb

For the physically disabled, computers offer convenient tools for communicating with others, operating equipment, and living a better life. We propose a computer interface for those disabled with upper limb disability that enables the user to move a cursor on a CRT using head movement detected by image processing. To ensure accurate image processing, the user wears glasses with 3 LED marks. Data on head movement is used to position the cursor on the CRT. Blinking of the user's eye corresponds to pressing of keys. Experiments confirmed system applicability.
